The Chapel of Methodist Boys’ High School, Oron, reverberated with excitement as 500 students gathered to receive back-to-school packs from the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Lady Helen Eno Obareki.
The event is a fulfilment of the promise Lady Obareki made during her visit to the school for the 2025 International Day of the Boy Child, with the theme “Stand Up, Be Heard and Be Seen.”
Taking delivery of the items on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the Principal of Methodist Boys’ High School, Oron, Mr Effiong Ima, received the Aides and staff from the Office of the First Lady, led by the Press Secretary, Mrs Uduak Ekong, who thereafter distributed the packs to the students.
The activity also included a question-and-answer session, during which prizes were awarded to those who answered correctly.
