Determined to make quality tertiary education affordable and within the reach of more Nigerians, Southern Atlantic university Uyo has concluded arrangement with some religious and social groups to train their members in the approved courses in the Institution.
The founder of Southern Atlantic university Pastor Bassey James who disclosed this during a press briefing with select Journalists in the University Campus along Airport road Uyo explained that organizations who are interested in partnership for the comprehensive training of their members in the University will be accommodated.
According to him, ” It is going be two way Sponsorship programme where prospective students fees will be discounted to enable students have access to quality university education,
He highlighted that some organizations, including politicians,and faith based groups across the country have approached the university management to have their members come to our university when they got information that the tuition fees in the university are very moderate compared to other private Universities, including proposed massive offering of Scholarships to deserving and very brilliant students across the country.
He further highlighted, ” I have earlier directed the management that the University must be a Channel of blessing to humanity considering how God lifted me to this level of life, i must give Back to the society in total appreciation for his grace”.
He added, “School fees can be paid by Installment, the opportunity i didn’t have, i must create it for others to realize their full potentials”,
He averred that the students who are coming into the university must have the necessary documents and scored above 150 in JAMB stressing that such students must be ready to key into the Entrepreneurship programme of the institution.
The Varsity Founder opined that all willing organizations must ensure that their sponsored students must be of high moral standard and ready to study, hard.
Pastor Bassey James noted that he is desirous to add value to humanity by contributing immensely to the society urging all indigenous and non indigenous organizations who are interested to immediately take advantage of the 2025 academic Session which begins in November
