…Welcomes Prince Akpabio, Nse Ntuen, into APC
The Wife of the Senate President and former First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Ekaette Akpabio, has flagged off the All Progressives Congress (APC) Membership Revalidation Exercise in Ukana West 2, Essien Udim LGA, with a call on all party faithfuls to unite and work in harmony for the success of the party.
She assured that the government of Governor Umo Eno in Akwa Ibom State, the leadership of the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON, and the President Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government will continue to implement programmes and policies that will uplift the people, improve their welfare, and empower the people of Ukana West 2, Essien Udim LGA, Akwa Ibom State, and Nigeria.
Mrs. Akpabio officially concluded her revalidation procedure at about 2:02 PM.
Addressing the gathering on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Methodist Primary School, Ukana, Okop Akama, Ukana West 2, Essien Udim LGA, Mrs. Akpabio urged APC members from Ukana West 2 to be resolute, steadfast, and continue to work for the success of the APC, assuring that with loyalty, unity, and inclusivity, a total landslide victory awaits the APC in the Ward, Local Government, and State come 2027.
She noted that the Senate President would have been physically present but could not due to an official engagement in Geneva, and urged all to work together for the success of the party come 2027 and beyond.
Mrs. Akpabio assured new members of equal rights and privileges in the APC, noting that in the APC, there is no discrimination as the goal is to have a united APC that will work in harmony with both the Governor and the Senate President to achieve and consolidate on the new and prevailing Akwa Ibom United Spirit in the state.

On his part, the Chairman of Essien Udim LGA, Hon. Elder Ntiedo Usoro, also flagged off the exercise in Ikpe Ward. The Chairman thereafter toured all the wards in the local government to monitor the exercise and provide logistics support.
Addressing newsmen in Adiasim Ward, Engr. Oliver Ebong thanked Governor Umo Eno, Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON, and President Bola Tinubu for the initiative, submitting that the outcome will help the APC have a better statistical data for administration, political projection, and planning.
He assured that Adiasim will continue to give their total and unalloyed support to Governor Umo Eno, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and President Bola Tinubu come 2027 and beyond.
