More than 1300 persons with various health challenges have received free medical treatment through Champion Breweries plc medical outreach organized for indigenes of Nung oku community in Ibesikpo Asutan local government area of Akwa ibom state as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

Addressing the people before flagging of the event, the Managing Director of Champion Breweries plc Dr. Inalegwu Adoga said Champion Breweries has long been committed to delivering life touching projects that enhance the wellbeing of the people of the state, reaffirming its commitment to positively impacting its host communities,

The managing director urged the patients to embrace the opportunity provided by the Medical outreach to address their various health challenges and tasked them to pay adequate attention on the health education center to enable them live a healthier life.
He highlighted that the event is yet another way of giving back to the society and ensuring that the Host communities are rewarded for their continuous support and cooperation with the firm.
Also speaking at the event, the Chairman of Ibesikpo Asutan local government area of the state, Hon. Edidiong Joseph Inyang described the free medical mission by champion breweries as very impactful and timely.

Addressing the people, the Chief Medical Director of Ima bridge hospital, Dr Joseph Ekpeyong highlighted the causes of various ailments such as High blood pressure, stroke, diabetes and many more and how they can be prevented through healthy living and periodic medical check ups.
Beneficiaries of the medical outreach who spoke with journalists expressed deep seated gratitude to champion breweries plc for their kind intervention and urged the company to sustain the generosity.

One of the octogenarian beneficiary Madam Ekaette Etim Okon said the medical outreach have restored her hope and confidence to keep moving on.
