Abak Council boss presents official vehicles to leader, Council secretary

The Executive Chairman of Abak Local Government Council, Hon. (Mrs.) Ime Effiong Charles, on Sunday, July 20, presented official vehicles to the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Xavier Timothy and the Secretary of Council, Mr. Gift Umoh.
Speaking during the brief handover ceremony at the Council Secretariat, the Chairman commended both officials for their dedication to service and reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency across all arms of the Council.
In his response, the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Timothy expressed deep gratitude to the Chairman for the kind gesture, describing it as a motivation for greater commitment to duty.
Both recipients pledged their continued support and cooperation towards the seamless execution of people-oriented policies and programmes of the present administration.
The handover ceremony was witnessed by the Head of Local Government Service, Elder Etiuwem Udoh, Councillors, Supervisors, Directors, the Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Engr. Iniobong Akpan and Personal Aides to the Chairman.
