Mbo Local Government Area was filled with unusual excitement as creme De la creme, youths, men, women and elders turned out in impressive numbers for the APC chapter meeting, continuous voters registration, and party registration. The event was in line with the directive of the state party leader and Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno.

The Executive Chairman of Mbo, Hon. Sunday Bassey, applauded the Governor for the developmental strides the Local Government area has continued to receive. He noted that the level of inclusion seen under Governor Eno’s administration is unprecedented, adding that the people of Mbo are witnessing a new sense of belonging.

Several stakeholders who spoke at the event also commended the Governor for promoting harmony within the state. They described the turnout as a clear indication of unity and expressed confidence that with the strengthening of internal cooperation, Governor Eno’s re-election is well on course.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Youths, Mr. Godswill Ekpeyong, appreciated the Governor for giving young people a seat at the table. He explained that the confidence the administration has shown in the youth is the reason young people across Mbo are aligning under one political family.
