The University founder Pastor Bassey James who confirmed this to Journalists in Uyo expressed deep seated gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, Gov Umo Eno, and many others for their support
According to him, ” History is made today in Akwa Ibom state as the first private university in Ibibio land commenced academic session and lectures to impact quality education on our youths at very pocket friendly fees.
He added, Today is historic and a great day for us because we have started the formal academic programs after fulfilling all requirements for take off.
“I cannot hold my joy as we received some of our students who have to be part of the academic Journey in our university, I want use this opportunity to thank God Almighty for his grace and guidance”.
” We have a star studded team and governing council led by Distinguished Senator Ita Enang, Prof Emeritus Akpan Hogan Ekpo, Prof Innocent Victor Modo, Prof Etete Peters, Prof ini Akpabio, and all the professors including other academicians from different background who have supported our university.
Meanwhile, the vice Chancellor Prof Raphael Edem and Engr Eddy James in a statement made available to Journalists highlighted that Southern Atlantic university is here to stay and ready to offer the best to the students.
They added, “We are building a big family and our commitment to the institution is Paramount, we therefore want assure the world that we will give our utmost efforts in ensuring the students are given the best.
They appealed to parents to take advantage of the discounted school fees which is one the cheapest among top private universities in nigeria.
“Admission is still ongoing and students can visit JAMB Portal or approved CBT center., southern Atlantic university was approved by the President and the university is also on JAMB portal with 15 courses such as
B.sc degree in Cyber Security.
